What a fantastic summer we’ve had here at Kingslakes! The long spell of warm, bright weather made 2025 one of our most enjoyable seasons yet, and it was brilliant to see so many guests out making the most of it. Our fishing season has been one of the best on record, with impressive catches across all lakes. The newer lakes are maturing beautifully, and it’s been exciting to watch the fish thrive and grow – a promising sign of even better seasons to come.
As always, we’re looking ahead, and we have some exciting plans already underway for 2026. We’re developing a brand-new dog agility area, giving our four-legged guests even more space to enjoy. We’re also updating the décor across our cottages and lakeside lodges to make your stays even more comfortable and memorable. It’s important to us that Kingslakes continues to evolve while keeping the charm that brings guests back year after year.
Speaking of which, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chose Kingslakes for their holidays in 2025. It’s been wonderful to welcome so many new faces—and even better to see how many guests have already rebooked for 2026. Your support means everything to us.

New for 2026 – Breakfast hampers.
£35 Serves 2-4 people – Includes bacon, sausages, eggs, milk, bread, butter, cooking oil, baked beans, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar and cereals.
You will be able to add and pay for this hamper as an extra when booking your accommodation.

New For 2026 – Dog Hamper Packs
We recognise that your dogs are an important part of the family and deserve to be treated while on holiday.
With this in mind we are introducing complimentary dog packs that can be used while staying with us. This includes Large drying towel, 2 food/water bowls, poo bags and some treats.
These will be in your accommodation on your arrival and do not need to be pre booked. Please ensure that the blankets are left in the property when you leave for others to enjoy.
New For 2026 – Secure Dog Agility Field
As part of our ongoing development of Kingslakes we recognise that visiting dogs need a safe and secure place to run off lead and burn off some energy we are excited to confirm that in 2026 we are thrilled to be introducing our new two-and-a-half-acre dog agility field.
This secure space allows dogs to exercise freely and also features a shelter for owners to stay dry during wet weather.
New For 2026 – Carp Hire Kit
We are excited to introduce our Carp equipment hire. We know finding space in your vehicle can be difficult when going on holiday and we have thought of the perfect way to help you. This equipment can be hired as a set or individually.
A Bivvy, bed chair, carp porter, scales, and tripod can now be hired from us as well as un-hooking mats and landing nets. We have a limited amount so booking in advance is advisable.
Prices £15.00 per day or £75.00 Week.
