Hello everyone, an update on the silver fishing for you all to whet your appetite.

We had a cracking little 4 hours on woodpecker lake in the company of everyone’s favourite barman Jeff and regular guest Andy Tilden last week.

The silvers are certainly biting well with all three of us catching 100 fish plus ( my clicker skills are not like they use to be 🤪) mainly ide and chub with a few tench , skimmers and some cracking roach in the mix . Maggot hook bait, ( size 18) with plenty of f1 dark ground bait ( available to buy in our shop) the perch king Jeff was also at it again with a stunning 2lb 2oz beast.

We all finished the day with well in excess of 20lb each, superb.
