Hi everyone, Tim again … your favourite chef and fishing fanatic !

I had a day on moorhen lake and wow what a day.

Pretty much caught all day mainly golden orfe with a few ide and koi with plenty of gold fish. Finished the day day with an incredible 44lb.

A bit gutted I didn’t smash the 50lb but missed and bumped my usual muppetry, ( and snuck off for far too many coffees 😂🤪)

Caught everything on red maggot, mainly on 11 Mtrs , as usual feeding is the key and not for the faint hearted, used 3 kg of dark ground bait, 2 pts of maggots, pint of pinkies and our fishery 4 mm pellets. What a lake, well worth a day while you’re staying with us ,
