An Introduction To Fishing lesson costs just £40 for up to two people with tackle included.
Lesson spots are limited so book your lessons as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Call us on 01409 231401 or email us to book your place in advance of your stay with us.
This mixed lake lies a short distance from the cottages at Kingslakes, with woodland around two sides affording a sheltered environment for fishing with an idyllic view. This lake has an island and holds a mixed variety with carp up to 24lbs, roach up to 2.5lbs and several other species of fish represented. A favourite with many guests.
Jenny Wren Lake
For the traditionalist looking for some classic float fishing action Jenny Wren is a perfect choice. The intimate tree-lined pool is positioned not far from the holiday lodges and is stocked with crucians and quality tench to 8lb. The lake extends to around three quarters of an acre with varying depths and has an island towards one end.
Nuthatch is over 1 acre in size, with varying depths. The lake is sheltered and surrounded by woodland and many water plants can be found around the edges, which provide an attractive environment for both fish and fisherman. This lake is also a mixed species lake and anglers often catch both bream and chub in excess of 4lb.
Your visit wouldn’t be complete without visiting Woodpecker lake, a further mixed species water in a stunningly beautiful setting. Sheltered by woodland on one side Woodpecker Lake can be accessed by walking through the wood at Kingslakes or by following the grass track from the open grass area.
Our seventh lake at Kingslakes is our stock pond, which is also available for fishing.
